An Open Letter regarding Mabinogi Europe

Dear Mr. Kim,

we, the players of Mabinogi Europe, are writing this open letter to you to express, that many of us are disappointed, unhappy and concerned about the status quo of said title and almost feel being ignored.

- For 413 days, the game has had not received any generation updates.
- For 4908 days, there have been no new pets or other cash shop items.
- For 4778 days, there have not been any in-game events.
- The housing feature is implemented, but disabled due to problems, since mid 2010 and never got fixed.

Mabinogi is dating back to 2004 and it seems understandable, that the game just might not generate the same revenue as Nexon's newer titles recently being released. But the game is still running and there is still paying customers aswell as free players to play with left. So the game is yearning for atleast some attention. For too long now, neither customer support, nor forum moderators seem to have been able to answer the questions asked by players over and over, regarding the future of the game. So we are taking the approach of an open letter to you as a last resort.

We are saddened to see old friends and new players quit and the game's player base shrink continously. Some old players wait to return to the game, if there just were updates again. Many current players would atleast want to see a sign of life for the game, to know the servers won't surprisingly shut down someday. Be it an official statement from Nexon on the game's future, an in-game event or just a new pet.

We don't know the reasons behind the state of the game, but we would be grateful, if you could let us know, that you are aware of our concerns, take them seriously and are willing to take some action on Mabinogi.

Mr. Kim, we love Mabinogi. We hope you are just as passionate about your titles as your players are.

Yours sincerely,

Mabinogi's Players
